Congratulations are in order to our Senior Paralegal and Office Manager for passing her board certification exam. She joins the ranks of only 38 Board Certified Family Law Paralegals in Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris and Montgomery County, Texas.

Congratulations are in order for Matt Skillern and his beautiful family. He is now Board Certified in Family Law.

There are currently over 90,000 lawyers in the State of Texas and only 867 of them have received the honor of representing themselves as Board Certified in Family Law.

We are extremely proud of him and he joins John Schmude and Robin Klein from our office as Board Certified Family Lawyers.

Board Certified Family Lawyer- Robin W. Klein

Robin W. Klein has been practicing family law, exclusively, for over 13 years. She is board certified in family law and is trained in mediation. Robin W. Klein has lived in Houston for the majority of her life. She grew up in the Alief area and graduated from Alief Elsik High School. Ms. Klein graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. After a successful career as a pharmaceuticals representative, Ms. Klein attended South Texas College of Law where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence.

Ms. Klein earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2004. In 2015, Ms. Klein earned the designation of being Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization; an accomplishment that only 1% of the family lawyers in Texas have achieved.

As a single mom of two grown children, Robin understands the challenges that clients endure when faced with heart wrenching issues regarding children, divorce and financial struggles. Robin’s passion and insight guide others through the legal process by assisting her clients make decisions that will benefit them and their families now and in the future. Robin handles all aspects of family law cases in and out of the courtroom.

Ms. Klein is dedicated to helping her client’s get through the legal process so they can begin the next chapter of their life. She listens and will give your case the attention it needs. Ms. Klein has experience and knowledge to look at each case individually and can often find creative solutions to conflicts regarding custody, possession and access, child support and property division.

Ms. Klein understands that some cases need to go trial, however that is not always the best scenario when dealing with sensitive, personal issues in family law cases. Ms. Klein is very successful in negotiating a final resolution that benefits her clients and their family. She will help you do a risk assessment when developing your goals towards a temporary and final resolution.
